DAM - Digital Asset Management is a system that stores and distributes digital assets. It helps contain and organize digital content in a central location (Keathley, 2014).

Assets - Assets are items that are owned by a company or an individual. Assets have commercial and exchange value (Keathley, 2014).


Content - Content is all items and stuff that is owned by an organization or company (Keathley, 2014).


Managing Terms:


Asset Management - A process of organizing assets from the perspective of a workflow.


Digital Asset Management: The management and organization of digital media assets.


Components to a DAM (El Asaleh, 2021).
